Benefits of Student Membership in This Professional Business Fraternity
Opportunity to learn business skills. Members learn time management skills, the meaning of professionalism, how to network and interview, as well as job search basics like how to create a resume and cover letter.
Opportunity to apply business knowledge. The Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation sponsors case competitions in which students must analyze realistic business situations that involve fast-paced decision making, conflicting goals, and managerial decisions.

The fraternity’s national website offers a chapter directory. Students interested in joining Alpha Kappa Psi can search for a chapter by region. Those without a chapter on campus may be eligible to start a new chapter. Requirements for starting a new chapter are listed on the fraternity’s website, but in general there must be adequate interest in a new chapter as evidenced by the commitment of two faculty advisors and at least forty student members.
