Beta Alpha Psi for Business MajorsHonorary Student Organization for Accounting and Finance Students
Accounting majors, finance majors, and information systems majors should consider joining Beta Alpha Psi.
Similar to a business fraternity in that it is co-ed, Beta Alpha Psi is actually an honorary student organization only open to students who meet certain academic and other standards of achievement. Who Can Join Beta Alpha PsiAlthough individual chapters may set higher admission standards, the national office indicates that members should have good moral character, demonstrate academic achievement and/or professional excellence. Eligible students must be pursuing a course of study in the fields of accounting, finance, or information systems. According to the group’s bylaws, an undergraduate student must demonstrate the following:

Other Options Are Available To Those Who Don’t QualifyThose who do not meet the requirements of joining Beta Alpha Psi at their college may have the option of joining a business fraternity. A business fraternity will also be co-ed and offer access to employers, but the academic requirements may not be as strict.
